Another e-Learning Course on Swine Management, Now Online!

Pig2Start your very own swine enterprise by Mastering the ABCs of Pig Production!
The latest e-Learning course on swine management is an effective guide if you are planning to venture in pig production or if you simply want to improve the farm practices in your piggery.  It is a five-module course that discusses various pig production activities like management of boars and gilts; management of dry, pregnant, and lactating sows and sows at farrowing. Also in the course are modules on management of piglets; care and management of weaner; and marketing of pigs.
The course is brought to us by Agricultural Training Institute's International Training Center on Pig Husbandry (ITCPH) and the e-Learning team of ATI’s Knowledge Products Management Division (KPMD). (Yovina-Claire R. Agsawa)

ATI-Caraga Holds 4th e-Learning Mass Graduation

LOS ANGELES, Butuan City – The Agricultural Training Institute-Regional training Center (ATI-RTC) in Caraga recently held the 4th e-Learning Mass Graduation, with a total of 368 graduates.
 
The graduates were comprised of agriculture students, faculty and staff from Caraga State University (CSU) and Surigao Del Sur State University (SDSSU), agricultural extension workers and farmers from the region who completed the requirements of various online courses they took from the e-Learning portal of the e-Extension Program for Agriculture and Fisheries.

ATI-RTC Caraga was the first ATI Training Center to implement the e-Learning mass graduation which is now being held annually. The ATI in Caraga implemented this activity as a strategy to lure more enrollees as well as graduates and consequenyl it has been picked up as an effective strategy by other regions such as regions IVA and VI.

ATI Webmasters Gathered to Revamp ATIiNteractive Site

Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) WebmastersDILIMAN, Quezon City –Recognizing the continuous and rapid evolution of Information and Communication Technology (ICT), the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) recently gathered its pool of webmasters to revamp its corporate website, including those of its network of ATI Training Centers.

Since the inception of the ATIiNteractive, the official website of the ATI, the Drupal 6 has been used as its Content Management System (CMS) and with the introduction of Drupal 7, considering its user-friendly interface, the ATI web team worked on to give their corporate websites a new look.
