IRRI holds Orientation and Hands-on Training on the Nutrient Manager for Rice


 

LOS BAÑOS, Laguna – The International Rice Research Institute (IRRI) gathered some representatives  from selected agencies of the Department of Agriculture (DA) to be oriented and to try first-hand the new web and mobile phone applications of the Nutrient Manager for Rice in the Philippines.

The workshop was held in IRRI, Los Baños, Laguna last July 14-15, 2010 and was participated by delegates  from the Agricultural Training Institute (DA-ATI), Philippine Rice Research Institute (PhilRice), Bureau of Soils and Water Management (BSWM) and DA’s AgriPinoy Rice Program. (Yovina-Claire R.
