ATI’s MIS Automation Underway: PMIS, LAN Training Held
LA TRINIDAD, BENGUET--Realizing the importance of automating its administrative operations, the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) conducted the Training on Personnel Management Information System (PMIS) and the Local Area Network (LAN). This training was the intitial step towards the Institute's goal of achieving full automation for the enhanced delivery of its administrative and technical operations.
ATI’s ICT infrastructure has been operational since 2007, initially intended for the implementation of the Department of Agriculture's e-Extension Program for Agriculture and Fisheries, where ATI is the lead implementing agency. Likewise, this development was aimed for the strengthening of its Management Information System (MIS) for the automation of its operations.
Aurora e-Village Project Beneficiaries Receive ICTwares
BALER, AURORA -- Acquiring the right information at the right time in a much faster pace--this is the development that the farmers of Aurora will now enjoy. Through the help of ICT wares that were distributed to the identified beneficiaries of the Aurora e-Village Project, the farmers in Aurora province will now have the opportunity to have knowledge at their own finger tips.
Aiming for a faster Information transfer and a much easier transaction-based farming business, the computers that were distributed will be installed in the identified 19 access points. Each computer was designed in an ATM machine-like kiosk coupled with database on rice and other commodities. It will also have a system that is connected to the Rice Processing Complex (RPC) which will make transactions for farmers easy.
ICT Roadshow promotes Aurora e-Village project
AURORA PROVINCE -- Intending to increase the awareness and knowledge about the Aurora e-Village project, an ICT roadshow was held for the four central towns of the Aurora province namely Dipaculao, Maria Aurora, San Luis and Baler.
