ROXAS BOULEVARD, Manila -- Going for full automation!

With the Agricultural Training Institute-Central Office’s (ATI-CO) Personnel Management Information System (PMIS) has been launched, the focus now turns to its network of training centers in the regions to be computerized.

The ATI-CO, with its Knowledge Products Management Division and Administrative and Finance Division conducted the Training on the Use of Personnel Management Information System (PMIS) and the Local Area Network (LAN). This training is a follow up to the PMIS training for ATI Central Office staff held last February 2010.

Aiming to capacitate the ATI Regional Training Center (ATI-RTC) staff on the use of these systems to strengthen the whole ATI Management information System, about 32 personnel officers with their respective e-Extension Coordinators from the regions were invited to participate in the training. The training also intends to follow the paper-less transaction for its MIS.

Lectures on the components of PMIS such as employees profile, payroll and DTR were discussed by Elito V. Circa of the Bureau of Post-Harvest Research and Extension (BPRE). While the lecture on LAN maintenance and it benefits was discussed by Dennis Boyd Baltazar of ATI-RTC 8.
